Fifth-grade members of Coleytown Elementary's Student Leadership Council (SLC) partnered with Principal Key to host our Veterans Day ceremony for 2024.

 

We had the pleasure of welcoming Marine Michael Ruttenber as our special guest speaker. Students from all grades submitted questions for Marine Ruttenber, ranging from "What did you eat in Iraq?" to "Are you still friends with other Marines you served with?"

 

The ceremony was precious and the unison shout-out of "Thank you for your service!" was very sweet, impressive, and heartwarming.
