CES News
On the morning of June 10th, CES students, families, and staff came together to Chalk the Walk, filling our sidewalks with colorful artwork and uplifting messages celebrating pride, kindness, and belonging. Thank you to everyone who joined us in creating a welcoming and joyful start to the day. Together, we continue to build a school community where every student feels seen, valued, and that they truly belong.
Our 5th Grade Student Council Leadership members were shining stars during our Mini K tours! With warm smiles, kind hearts, and lots of school spirit, they proudly welcomed incoming kindergarten families and helped make everyone feel right at home at CES.
Coleytown's LMC was truly transformed into a magical Disney-inspired funhouse for this year’s Book Fair! From a Slinky Dog the size of a Tesla to a larger-than-life claw machine (yes, big enough to scoop up a teacher!), every detail brought joy and excitement to our students. A huge thank you to our incredible PTA Book Fair Committee for their creativity, time, and heart in creating such a memorable and festive experience for our school community.
On Wednesday, February 4, we celebrated the 100th day of school. Each grade marked the occasion in creative ways: from crossing decorated classroom doorways to wishing for 100 of their favorite things. Kindergarten's celebration was especially adorable!
CES is starting 2026 with curiosity, collaboration, and fractions! Thanks to Sarah Schaefer, CEO and Founder of Mathodology, working alongside our Grade 4 and 5 teachers and students to make math engaging and meaningful.
On December 2nd, Coleytown Elementary School held its Winter Concert, filling the auditorium with the joyful sounds of the season. We are grateful to Coleytown Middle School for welcoming us into their beautiful venue, a perfect stage for our young musicians to shine. Thank you to our dedicated music teachers for guiding and inspiring our performers!
