In grades K–5, students acquire foundational knowledge and skills, develop critical thinking and problem solving skills and experience a love of learning that will last a lifetime. Although the focus of elementary education is reading, writing, and mathematics, the elementary school curriculum also incorporates science, social studies, health, Spanish, technology, art, music and physical fitness. The primary goal of our literacy and mathematics programs is to turn kids into life-long, confident readers, writers, and mathematicians who display both agency and independence.
On Friday, January 20, Coleytown Elementary School students, staff and families participated in CES Learns. Some classes were: Origami, Cooking, Irish Dancing, Coding, Cartooning, Engineering and Musical Theater.
